May 2012

I am sure no one reads this blog anymore, but I have to update it for the sake of our family. :)  We are very shortly going to add a new baby to our family, so I really want to try and get all caught up by then.  We've had tons of computer and camera problems, so hopefully we can get this done quickly.

In May 2012 we started to grow our first garden.  It was really kind of a magical experience for the kids.  All of our corn came up and one pumpkin seed.  Myles called him our "Pumpkin Guy."  They grew really well indoors. Then when we planted them outside, we slowly lost them all, but we were just excited to get things to grow at all!

About the same time we started growing the garden, we also started to grow our third baby!
We were excited, but May and June and July and most of August were horrible for me.  I was so sick and nauseous.
Anyway, here's what we did in May....

The little garden.

Our little corn poking through!

Grandma and Grandpa Ludwig got a cool new Mercedes and Myles fell in love with it.  :)

Wyn and I painted our toenails the same color! She loves nail polish! So fun!

Playing outside.

Family Race.

Our California trip.
We went at the beginning of May with Grandma and Grandpa Ludwig to see my sister-in-law, Krista, and her family.  Their sweet new baby, Eden was being blessed.

Myles at a gas station.
He found a hose and I guess was watering the tree.

Wyn getting some ice cream.

We stopped in Las Vegas for the night and went swimming!!
That was such a crazy night.  Wyn wouldn't sleep in the play pen, so I took her in bed with all the rest of us.  I just remember waking up a lot and seeing her big, sweet eyes staring at me wondering what we were doing all snuggled together. A funny memory for sure.

Myles Man showing his stuff!

Wyn and Grandma by the pool.

My kids' first beach experience.
We all loved it!!

Myles and Daddy playing.
Right after I snapped this shot Kenny jumped over Myles.

Our little family.

A pretty sunset.

We went shopping!!
Of course there was a little train to ride, so we did. :)

Wyn got so much sand on her face.

Love this picture!!

Love this picture too!!

We stayed in this beautiful beach house.  Love, love, loved it!!
Kenny went to a 3D movie with the boys and we all took turns with his cool glasses after.

Wyn loving the flowers on the deck of our beach house.

Mommy and Wynni on the beach.

Back home but still in our sunglasses!
Whenever I tilt my head Wyn will copy.  I just love this little lady.  She's so funny!

Towards the end of May we got a trampoline.  Myles and Wyn love it!! Myles and Wyn also really started to bond.  Myles is a good big brother to her and Wyn is always copying him.

Laying down on the trampoline.

Myles loves looking through the trampoline at the ground.  He's such a funny guy!

This picture was taken by Myles and it just makes me laugh cause I'm smiling all huge, but I was so nauseous when we first got the trampoline.

We spent much of our summer on the trampoline. :)

April 2012

April was a while ago, but I'm determined to catch up this blog!
I don't remember a whole lot of what we did, but here are some pictures.

It was nice out so we spent a lot of time playing outside.
The kids love playing in the sandbox!

Most of what I remember from this month has to do with my calling in Young Womens.
I had been the Beehive advisor for about 9 months and then everyone got released.  The same night I was released I was also called back in to be the 2nd counselor, so I was still over the Beehives.  I was super excited, because I really love working in the Young Women's program.
Our first task as a new presidency was our camp fundraiser.  It was a dinner and bake sale.  The picture below is of cupcakes I made for them.  I made a cake and mint chocolate truffles too, but I can't find the pictures.  This was my first time using gum paste and it wasn't too bad to work with.
The bake sale went so well.  It was a little hectic, but everyone in the ward was so generous and they really helped all the girls make more than enough money for camp.

One day the kids had been playing outside and got really dirty.  I put them on the counter to just wash their hands and feet off, but little by little they got all the way in the sink.  Of course I was right there the whole time, so I allowed it, but it was just funny that they wanted to get in.
Since then they have taken more sink baths. :)

Here's a picture of Wyn taking a picture of herself.

One Sunday afternoon we gave stripped Myles down to his undies and gave him a haircut.  While his hair was falling to the ground, Wyn was picking up his clothes and putting them on.  She's just so funny!  Love this little lady!

Easter in California

For Easter this year we went to my sister, Ylfe's, house in California.  We had such a great time!! I'm so glad we got to go and see where they live and just hang out with them.
We love you Teare Family!!
Thanks for having us!

Myles and cousin Jessi riding in the jeep.

They have a huge carpool van. So we all fit in it when we went to the Zoo.

Myles with cousin Ethan at the zoo.

Our little family.

Jessi, Meri, Me and Wyn on the train ride at the zoo.

Myles and Daddy on the train.

Orion, Brayton, and Shawn on the train.

 Just pics of the train.

Myles and Wyn were both pretty tired on the way home.  Myles crashed with his new Safari Train in hand.

My sister had this super cute idea for an Easter treat.

Here are the kids making Resurrection Rolls.  Also another cool Easter treat.

Wynni Boo!

Ylfe and Zac

Kenny just hanging out.

Myles and Meri.

Myles and Zac were so cute together in this jeep.  I really wanna get Myles one of these now.

Myles didn't quite understand that he could steer the wheel and the wheels would turn.  He kept hopping out and turning the whole jeep to wherever he wanted it to go.

Cutie boys!

And Wyn falls in love with a trampoline.  Hence, we got one a month later! :)
Some of my favorite memories of this trip were just hanging out with my sister.  We went out to dinner and went to see The Hunger Games.  And of course we just talked and talked.  I love sisters!!
