Merry Christmas 2013!!

We decided to save money this year by not sending out Christmas cards. So this is our holiday greeting instead. :)

I took pictures of the kids last night in front of the tree.
Wyn was NOT happy about getting in her Christmas jammies and posing for a picture. Not even a bribe would work, but oh well.  A memory, right? :)

Myles and his new planes from Grandma and Grandpa Ludwig.

We really need some new family pictures done. This is our most recent one. :)
This year has been quite a wild ride for us.  We have been very blessed. Some of our blessings were easy to spot, but many have been blessings in disguise. We are so grateful for good family and friends who loved us, prayed for us, and encouraged us throughout this year. Most of all, we are grateful for our Savior, Jesus Christ who died for us and is always there.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!

Santa came. :)

9 years!! And SNOW!!

A week ago Kenny and I celebrated our 9 year anniversary. Time is so weird. It feels like it's been longer and shorter all at the same time. I'm so lucky to have him for my best friend and husband. Love him to pieces!
We were very lame though and didn't take a picture. :(
He did surprise me by leaving me a present on the piano; two cool glass rings! He's the best!

A couple days after our anniversary we woke up to a beautiful, snowy day.

My solar lights covered in snow.

Myles catching snowflakes on his tongue. :)

Wyn is chugging like a train in the snow. :)
We love snow!! Well, for a little while. :)

Myles turns 5!

It's really hard to believe that Myles turned 5 two weeks ago.
It's been an awesome 5 years, but way too fast!!
Some things about Myles:
*He loves to zoom and crash!
*He can read 3 and 4 letter words.
*He loves the songs, 'Last Christmas' and 'Life is a Highway'.
*He is always listening. Especially when I think he's not! :)
*He has a very tender heart.
We love our Myles Man.

This picture was taken a few days before his birthday.
Snuggles with Daddy!

Myles wanted a Turbo cake.
So we gave it our best.

It turned out pretty fun, but if I could do it again I would just cover the whole thing in fondant.
It would've been easier that way and looked a little cleaner, but Myles thought it was pretty cool. :)

'Planes', one of his new favorites.

Celebrating with cousins, Ezra and Alan.
Happy Birthday Myles!!

A week or so after Myles' birthday he informed me that it was helicopter and fish's birthday.
So we made cupcakes and had a party!
Helicopter turned 21 and fish turned 5, but we only had a zero candle.

Fish really wanted to eat the cupcake.
The kids were surprised!

Helicopter took a taste too. :)
Yay for birthdays!!

Thanksgiving

A couple of days before Thanksgiving we got some visitors!
Kenny's parents came to see us! It was fun to see them and explore more of Bellingham with them.

Piercey Pot with Grandma and Grandpa Ludwig.

We went down to the Portland area to see my parents and other family down there.
The only pictures I have are from this discovery center we went to, called OMSI. It's a great place for kids and adults!

Wyn and Myles in the water station.
Wyn was a little cold. :)

The giant sandbox.
Pretty fun!

Myles, Wyn, and Pierce with Grandma and Grandpa Baird.

We had a great time with all our family around that time. One of my favorite memories was when I played Uno with my niece Lauren. :)

Kenny's Birthday!

Kenny celebrated his 31st birthday not too long ago.
The kids were excited to watch him open presents. We usually open them all right when we wake up. :)

Wyn got Kenny some bouncy balls and Pierce found them right away and put them in his mouth. :)

We had a birthday party that night for Kenny with Adam and Elida and their boys. It's so fun to have family this close.

I never let my other babies have cake before they were one, but Pierce somehow got it out of me.

Frosting face!

Halloween 2013

We moved into our new place two days before Halloween.  We had an awesome idea for Halloween, but I didn't want to spend the money for the costumes and we didn't really have time to get them.  Some nice people from our new ward invited us to go trick-or-treating with them.  So we had to think quick for costumes. We had a ton of cardboard boxes since we were still unpacking.  So we decided to go all cardboard! Myles (randomly) decided to be a woodpecker all from cardboard. Wyn wanted to be a turtle ballerina with a cardboard turtle shell. Pierce and I were going to be "floating" in a cardboard hot air balloon. Kenny was going to be a giant cardboard hashtag. :)
However, like 30 minutes before we left the kids refused to wear the awesome cardboard costumes. So we went as The Incredibles.  Again. :)

A day or so later we made our traditional haunted graham cracker houses.

Wyn actually wanted to make a haunted graham cracker motor home. :)

Myles' awesome haunted house!

Kenny's haunted mansion.

And my haunted house.

This is one of my favorite activities to do with these guys!

Moving Day

The day after Wyn's birthday was moving day, and it was a doozy. I tried not to cry, but I did. A lot. Nevada was a great place with amazing people. It was really hard to say goodbye to Kenny's parents. I will forever be grateful that we lived so close to them while the kids were so young. Myles, Wyn, and Pierce formed some pretty tight bonds with Grandma and Grandpa Ludwig.

Below are some of my favorite friends!!
There's Megan and Lily, Me and Pierce, Traci, and Lindsay.
I miss those faces!!

Lindsay and I became friends instantly. She is super easy to talk to and we had tons in common. It's always sad and really hard to say goodbye to friends like her. We are pictured next to the stump in our front yard. That stump in the yard is one of my favorite places on earth!
One of my favorite people in one of my favorite places.

One of the best things about moving is that it usually involves stopping in Boise to see my sister, Tess.
My mom sent some fairy wings for Wyn and Penny to wear, but their older brothers wanted to try them out too. :)

Wyn was trying to fall asleep with her wings on.

Grandma Baird also made tutu's for Wyn and Penny.
Love those little ladies!!

Tess and Ryan took us to this cool mall that has a fountain and lights show. It also had a playground right nearby for the kids. It was fun!
My beautiful sister!!

Wyn and the lights.

The playground.

Thanks to all those who helped us move out and in.  And a special thanks to, Tess, for letting us hangout for a couple days. :)

Wyn turns 3!!

On October 25th our little Wynni Girl turned 3.  It's hard to believe she's already 3. We are so grateful for her in our family. She's pretty easy going, loves to look at books, and is usually willing to play anything Myles wants. :)  She is also a great helper in the kitchen and anywhere really. We just love her!

On her birthday we had a McDonalds picnic in the park for lunch.

For her birthday cake she wanted the little sea turtle, Ella, from Turtle's Tale 2.

She was trying to hold up three fingers. :)

Life just wouldn't be as nice without Wyn.
Love you Wynni Boo.
