My Garden Girl

Our garden was a great success this summer and the kids had a lot to do with it.
Wyn is always wanting to help me in anything I'm doing.  The garden was one more place to help. She did such a great job.
Love this garden girl!

Random July Pics

I am nearly done blogging about July. Yay!
Here are some random ones.

I didn't brush Pierce's  hair soon enough after the bath and it dried into a part down the middle.

I love finding these two like this.

Messy face!

Trampoline FUN!

To be honest, I am not super fun on the trampoline. I jump, but no flips for me. It kinda freaks me out. Kenny, however, is a fun trampoline man (I couldn't think of another way to say it.).
He has taught the kids all sorts of tricks.
Here is some of our trampoline fun!

Daddy doing a hand stand into a flip.

Pierce likes the trampoline too, but everyone has to sit down when he's on. :)

Bouncy Girl!

Myles is a lot like his Dad on the trampoline. :)

My Little Heart Melters

At the end of July I wanted to take some nice pictures of the kids for the hallway.
I love what I got.
They just melt my heart.
I am glad I get to be their mama.

Swimming Lessons

In July, Myles took swimming lessons.  Myles loves the water and will swim around like a little fish all by himself.  He was used to wearing his life jacket though. So to get into the water without it really made him mad.  The first day of swimming lessons was awful! He was screaming and wouldn't get in. I was so embarrassed and annoyed.  I should've been supportive and encouraging, but I wasn't.  His teacher kept saying how maybe he was just afraid of the water.  I knew that wasn't the case.
Myles and I had a long talk when we got home and we ended on a good note that he would try and get in the next day. He did great for the next two weeks! I was so happy for him and relieved.
Anyway, here are some pictures.

In Ely, there isn't a swimming pool yet (they are building one now). So we would go and swim at this cute pond called McGill Pool.  Cutest place ever! I really loved swimming there with the kids!
Here's Myles before lessons started.

This is what Wyn and I did during lessons. :)
My little sunbathing girl!

Myles loved the kick boards and did great with them!

Yay for finishing swim lessons!!
We will miss McGill Pool!!

Inventions!

One day back in July Myles watched "Meet the Robinsons."
After the movie he got super excited about inventing things.

I am not sure what he called this.  A rocket seat maybe?
It was super fun to create it together though.

The inventor in his invention.

He wanted to try and invent a peanut butter and jelly shooter just like in the movie.
This is it.
So cute!

And then we built a tape track on the floor.
Fun, fun!
I will really miss this boy when he goes to school next year.

Happy 4th of July!

This was our 4th of July this year.

Waiting for the parade to start.

Yes, I made us all get matching shirts. :)

Pierce and Daddy.

Wyn and Mommy.

All the boys waiting for the parade.

The parade got loud. :)

The scariest looking ice cream truck, I mean van?!

Some festive nails for the ladies of the house.

So this is the day after the fourth.
Every day I am so grateful I captured this exact moment of Myles.
Blowing bubbles!

Summertime!
