Dear Daddy,

We've missed you so much while you've been away in California! Here are a few things we've done while you've been away.
I played the piano with Grandma,

and played on the floor with Mommy.
Then we went to the Pederson's house and I played with cousin Kurt and cousin Lauren.
We've had a great time in Oregon, but we can't wait for you to come home tomorrow and have fun with us!! Have a safe flight! We love you so much Daddy! Thanks for working so hard for me and mommy. We really appreciate it.
I love you.
love,
Myles
p.s. Mommy sends a kiss to you.

Myles of Muscle!!

I am in love with my chubby baby! He's the best! I've decided that I think the little rolls on his arms look like little muscles. He actually does have a little bicep that he has had since day one, courtesy of his dad. Anyway, here are some of our favorite muscle shots and other cute ones as well.

You can't see it in this one, but his mouth is wide open. That's one of the ways that he smiles.

Sporting his muscle shirt outside!

This is one of Kenny's favorites. He says it looks like Myles is saying, "I will fight you!"

"Which way to the gym?"

One day when Myles was supposed to be sleeping I came in to find him really doing this...

Wrestling with his lion! From the looks of it, the lion took the binky which made Myles mad. I believe Myles won the fight though, because I found a big clump of lion hair in his fist. Such a manly little boy! That was the end of Lion in the crib.

When I was a little girl I loved the Fievel movies (American Tail, Fievel Goes West). I got a Fievel stuffed animal for Christmas a long time ago that is now in Myles' room and I decided to see if the hat would fit Myles.

For all you Twilight fans!

Before we moved from Oregon, there was one thing I had to do...go to the cafe that was in the Twilight movie of course!!! I know, I'm such a nerd! But I grew up 15 minutes away from that tiny cafe, always passing it on my way in to the mall and never once did I stop to eat there. Then we saw it in the Twilight movie and knew we had to go. The food was pretty good and a girl I went to high school with actually owns it now. Crazy! Anyway, so here is my documentation of the trip.

Inside the cafe!

It was a girl's day out with the exception of Myles and my nephew, Kurt. Starting from the left of the table and going around we have my sister-in-law Tyra, her brand-new baby Phoebe, my mom, me, Myles, my sister Krystal, and her baby Kurt.

Outside the cafe!

So this video is funny because I thought my camera was on picture mode when I handed it to my mom. I must've switched it to video mode though before I gave it to her. So here we are just standing there smiling because we thought it was just a picture, not a video. But I had to post something of the outside so you all believed me that we were really there! :)

I've also started reading the Twilight books again. I guess to prepare for the New Moon movie coming out in a few months. I'm reading Eclipse now, and I have to say that I like the books even better the second time around. I'm excited to see the movie, and Kenny thinks it's funny that I think it would be fun to go be an extra in one of the Twilight movies. But hello! It would be, right?! :)

Not Just Gadgets...

I wanted to post a quick blurb about Myles as well. Not only is he a gadget freak, but he is also an accomplished athlete. He got a hold of a little wooden bat that sits on my desk and knew just what to do with it. :)

Feel the power!

It feels good

I'm tough. I use bats like this for toothpicks.

I dare you to throw one down the middle.

I like this game.

Here Mom, I'm done.

Gadget Guy!

This blog has been ignored long enough. Sorry about that. We moved and everything got wild and crazy. Things are starting to settle down again so I guess that means I should post. :)

The move went well. It's really fun to be in a house! Our favorite part about our new adventure in life is that Kenny gets to come home every day for his lunch break! We live only a mile from his work!

Myles is moving around like crazy! His favorite and fastest mode of transportation is rolling. He will roll all the way across the room to get to whatever he's eyeing. We love watching him grow and develop!

He's recently taken an interest in all types of gadgets. His favorites are remote controls and cell phones. He loves our giant remote control! He's our little Gadget Guy!

Our New Place

Well everyone, the days flew by and we will be moving in a couple of days. We are super excited and also sad. We have made some wonderfull friends who are more like family, and are leaving family to whom we have grown even closer.
I wanted to put a picture with this post so that it will be quasi-entertaining. This is a picture of the house that we will rent in College Place. It is a couple of miles from work and also really close to church and shopping.
Jandi is really excited to live in a house and have a yard and a place to garden. I am excited to have a garage! Yeah baby.
We can't wait to get up there though, and even better is that Ryan and Tess are going to come out. We can't wait to see them. We haven't seen them in a while so it will be great to catch-up.

Onions and Tulip Fields!

Well, it's time to announce that Kenny, Myles, and I are moving to Walla Walla, Washington. What's there? Onions. And Home Depot where Kenny has been promoted to assistant store manager. I am so proud of him! He has really worked hard for this promotion.

We are sad and excited for the move. Moving is something that has always been fun and exciting to me, but now that we've lived close to family for two years I'm a little sad to leave. Our ward is awesome too! We've made some really good friends here. Mostly, I will miss my amazing sister, Krystal. It's been so fun to look out my window and know she's right down the street.

I didn't have any pictures to put with this post which is why I decided to post our trip to the Tulip Festival as well. Kenny and I went two years ago together and we knew we had to take little Myles to get a few family pics. I think we will definitely take a family trip each year to the Tulip Fields, because a family picture in an onion patch just isn't the same. :) Although, that does actually sound funny. So maybe we'll do it.

Myles and Daddy!

Myles and Mama!

The whole fam!

Oh, I forgot to say that we found a cute little house to rent. Our first house! We're very excited for that! We feel extremely blessed and grateful for this new opportunity in life!
