This is Wyn in her bumbo seat. She likes to be part of the action and the seat helps her to do so.
Here is a flashback pic of Myles in the same bumbo. Wyn is four months old and Myles five months old.

A Rockin' Valentines Day!

For Valentines this year Kenny and I got each other Band Hero!!! WE LOVE IT! I know it's been out for a while now, but we just barely played it for the first time. Kenny got a screamin' deal on ebay and it arrived on Valentines Day! So that night we rocked out!! Then the next morning we brought it out to show Myles. He thinks it's pretty cool too. I am now convinced everyone has an inner-rockstar. :)

Myles has really started to involve Wyn a lot more.

Wynni watching Daddy rock out.

ROCK ON!!!

p.s. One of me and Kenny's best songs together is 'Wannabe' by the Spice Girls!!! So fun!

Progress!

It's taken Myles a little bit to get used to having Wyn around. A couple of days ago was the first time he asked to hold her and he actually did it! I was too slow with the camera though and didn't get a pic. :( It was so sweet though.
Then today we were loading up the car for church and Myles looked over at Wyn in her car seat. She had on this white headband with a big pink flower on it and he said smiling, "Oh Wynni! Wynni Boo!"
It was the cutest thing!!
I love my family!

Wyn at 2 months!!

Our little lady!

Cousin Orion made her this hat!! So cute! Thanks Ri!

I can't believe Wyn is already 2 months old! Being sleep deprived makes things go by so fast! :)

She had her check-up last week and the doc said she looks great! She weighs 11 lbs. and is 22 in. long. I looked back in Myles' journal to see his stats and he was a whopping 14 lbs. and 24 and 1/2 in. long! I always knew he was big, but now I really know! :)

Wyn is starting to smile a lot and really likes to be near her food supply (aka Mom) all the time. She is a very calm, content baby who likes to snuggle up on the couch to take naps. She's getting really good at sleeping in her crib though. She is a very picky eater already! Which basically means I have to cut out a lot of my favorite things to help her sensitive tummy. Dairy and sweets are among those things that make her unhappy. :( Oh well, I guess it'll help me lose the baby weight. :)

We just love our little Wyn Aubrey and are so grateful she came to our family!

Kids in Snow Suits

Before we had kids all I ever heard about having kids was how hard it was or how it would change everything. No one ever told me how darn cute kids look in snow suits! Oh my gosh, I just want to eat my children they look so cute!! So next time I have a conversation about having children with someone who doesn't have them, I'm just gonna tell them that kids are so darn adorable in snow suits and they should have them!!! :)

"Chic-ka, chic-ka, CHOOO CHOOO!"

Christmas was so fun this year! I love that Myles really got into it. All day long we heard things like, "Chic-ka, chic-ka, chic-ka, CHOOO CHOOO!" or "Oh bash my buffers!" and even, "Difficult bend! Difficult bend!" He really likes Thomas the Train if you couldn't tell. And he LOVES his new train set! The boys spent the day playing trains and slot cars (thanks Grandma and Grandpa Ludwig), and the girls spent the day trying on new clothes and hair clips! :) I really like having a little girl in the house! And we actually joined in and played with the boys too. It was such a nice relaxing day with the fam!

Bright and early Christmas morning!

Kenny and I have a tradition to make homemade pizza for dinner on Christmas. Usually we like to make fruit pizza for dessert, but this year we tried a gluten free pizza cookie. It was fun and so yummy!

Myles and his "chooch."

Opening presents wasn't exciting enough for the little lady.

We had a great Christmas and hope all of you did as well. It's such a beautiful time of year to remember and be grateful for our Savior, Jesus Christ. I hope I can do a better job this coming year of remembering Him throughout the whole year and not just during this season. Love you all!!

p.s. I was thinking of sending Christmas cards, but this year I never got past the thinking stage. Sorry! Next year!! :)

A Boy and His Train

Shortly after Thanksgiving Kenny and I had the great idea to buy a train to go around the Christmas tree. Little did we know that it would've made the perfect Christmas present for Myles. He LOVES it! Now that we've had it for almost a month Kenny and I are NOT in love with the train! It only has one volume. LOUD! And although it's supposed to be around the tree, it's anywhere but. However, it brings so much joy to our little man's life that we can't get rid of it. We are very excited to put it away after the holidays though. Hopefully the smaller and quieter train set we did get him for Christmas will suffice for the rest of the year. :)

p.s. We watch The Polar Express a lot around here!
