March 2012

March was a good month for us.  We were recovering a little still from the sickness in February, but overall we were healthy again.

I know he won't appreciate this picture in the future, but I just think he's so cute in his shirt, socks, shoes, and no pants.  He was just zooming around like that. Never a dull moment with this little one. 

And here are my little good luck charms on St. Patrick's Day.

I  LOVE St. Patrick's Day and had so many fun things planned for it, but didn't end up doing any of them.  Not even a treasure hunt! 

Kenny had a 3 on 3 basketball tournament for work and their team was actually GREEN! So that was fun for us to go watch on St. Patrick's Day.  

P.S. Kenny played on a broken foot. That boy! I tried to talk him out of it, but he wouldn't be swayed. Thankfully nothing much worse happened to it that day.  It must have been his little good luck charms! :)

 

I guess I lied in that last paragraph, because I did do one thing I planned on doing for St. Patrick's Day.  We made mint chocolate truffles!! They were so yummy and EASY!  Thank you pinterest!

I'm sad I don't have pictures of my favorite thing that happened in March, but I forgot my camera.  In early March we drove to Salt Lake for the day to see one of my favorite people and old roommate, Steph.  It had been two years since we'd seen each other.  They were on their way to a new life in Colorado and we just couldn't pass up the opportunity to see her, Kev, the twinners, and cutie Zac.  Thank you Jenkins Family!! I hope it's not two more years till we see each other again!!

February 2012 was ROCKY!

Oh February! This month started out fine and was fine for just the first couple of days.

Then Myles and Wyn got sick with just colds I thought.  They were colds at first, but soon turned into RSV. It was running rampant in our little town.  Thankfully my kids didn't get hospitalized or anything.  It just made for a very long, sleepless month!

There are a ton of pictures from this month.  I was kind of surprised to see how many there were, but then I realized that all we did was stay in our house.  So I guess we took pictures to pass the time. :)

The beginning of the month:

Myles wrote our number of the month for me: 9!  

He's always amazing me with his talents.

 I was trying to get a picture of how long her hair was getting, but it didn't work out too well. 

Valentines Day! I have no idea what we did.  I really can't remember.  I remember the kids got V-day balloons and that kept them entertained and happy. 

We tried squeezing inside Wyn's small refrigerator.  

And to our surprise they both fit with the door closed! 

This is a Myles picture, but he captured my feelings perfectly about this month!

Myles is a tough guy when he's sick.  Too tough.  I can't slow him down.  He would start running around and then throw up because he started coughing so hard.  We watched a lot of TV that month to help him sit still.

Wyn had to do her breathing treatments 4 times a day.  

Poor girl was so sick that usually she'd just sit there and not even care. 

There were some silly times.

There was definitely some good cuddle time this month, but I don't want to relive this one.

              Through this crazy month I was grateful that my kids are healthy most of the time.

Wyn cracks me up.  She will play cars and trains with Myles all day long, but she loves her girl stuff! She loves getting her toe nails painted and LOVES putting clips in her hair.

A few times, she's had me put clips all over her head until it's completely covered.  

I just love her! She's such a sweet little lady! And really funny! 

Never grow out of this, Wynni Boo! Just don't grow up! 

Grandpa Baird!

We don't get to see my side of the family a whole lot because we live pretty far from them.  So when I heard my Dad was making a trip to St. George at the end of January (only 3 hours from us), I knew we couldn't pass up this opportunity.  

It was my dad's birthday.  So here is Grandpa Baird and Myles blowing out one big candle.

It was so great to see my Dad and Grandparents.  We hope we get to see more family as they come down this way sometime.  :)

January 2012!

Here's a little of what we did in January.

Wyn got brave and tried out Myles' motorcycle.  She's still too short for it and probably will be for a while, but she likes to sit on it and loves being pushed on it.

Myles and Wyn on Sunday morning watching one of the animated Book of Mormon movies.  Now Myles will go around "shocking" people like Nephi does in the movie. :)

Myles started playing Mr. Photographer and the next three are of pictures that he took. It's always funny to me to look at the pictures he took and see how he took them and what's important to him.  I'll include some of his toys in later posts. They're funny.

Yay for snow!!! I LOVE that we get dumped on here!! I've never had snow quite like this before.  It's so fun that I can actually build a snowman out of it. And we even have tried to build snow trains! :)
